1880 Union Hotel

Built in 1880 as a stagecoach stop, the 1880 Union Hotel is a California Registered Historic Landmark in the heart of Los Alamos, Santa Barbara Wine Country. A filming location for the iconic Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson “Say Say Say” music video, and featured in British Vogue, the property has spent 145 years collecting stories worth telling.

Today, the Union operates as a boutique private event venue and hotel — 9 guest rooms, a historic western saloon, rose garden, brick terrace, and grand room available for weddings, corporate retreats, milestone celebrations, and private gatherings. All events are full-property buyouts, ensuring complete privacy for every guest

The Saloon is open to the public Thursday and Friday 4–9pm, and Saturday and Sunday 11am–4pm, with craft cocktails, chef-driven bar bites, and live music.
